Subsidiaries: Navigating the maze

It’s a brand new year, but our product team does not show any signs of slowing down. Just a few weeks into the new year, the team is already designing and coding at full speed. Rightly so. We have a super busy roadmap ahead of us, full of exciting features that we can’t wait to unveil.

Let’s dive into the first product update of 2019. We have some new additions to share.

Subsidiaries filter

Corporations come in all shapes and sizes. Often, it’s not easy to determine who owns who, and the different relationships between companies and organizations. We’ve made it easier to navigate the maze with the addition of a new filter that enables you to find companies according to their number of subsidiaries. For example, you can search for large groups with over ten subsidiaries or smaller ones.

To use the new subsidiaries filter, check the box in the Group filter options when you create a target group.

Subsidiaries

Going forward, we will develop further the way you can search for corporate groups and use their data more efficiently in your sales prospecting process.

New technology filters

By now, you’re already aware that technology companies use can reveal useful account insights on prospects’ intentions, their priorities, and the way they want to run their operations.

With Vainu, you can filter companies according to their digital footprint, for example, the content management system they use. Vainu’s technographics options now come equipped with three predefined filters that will make your workflow more efficient.

  • Payment method. These days there are so many different innovative ways to pay and make financial transactions. And, we’re tracking them down. Use this filter to find companies that use a particular payment method.
  • Reservations. Thousands of employees travel for business each day. Knowing the way a company travels can open new opportunities for the products and services you’re offering. With the “Reservations” filter, you can see which companies offer booking services such as hotels, restaurants, and flights.
  • Advertising. The adtech landscape is increasingly complex, becoming an essential piece of the technology stack of any organization. In Vainu, this filter tracks down any type of adtech companies are using.

Extra tip: In addition to these pre-defined categories, you can always search for companies by the technologies that are relevant to you by using the Technology-All filter.
