Q4 2024 Product Release: Contact Triggers
How do you know when to contact a prospect?
As every salesperson knows, being at the right place with the right message is often not enough; sales success hinges on being there at the right time.
However, timing is difficult to nail, which is understandable since little information is typically available to salespeople when deciding when to contact a prospect.
Our newest product release, Contact Triggers, provides you with the much-needed information on which to base the timing of your outreach so you can be at the right place at the right time.
Let’s dive into it.
Get notified when a new decision-maker appears in your target list
If you're already a Vainu user, you might know how the Workflow Triggers feature works. In this case, you’ll probably also have a pretty good idea of how our new Contact Triggers feature works. For those of you who don’t, here’s a quick explanation:
- On the vainu.app platform, you can create company lists by accessing one of our Nordic databases and applying different company and contact filters.
- Once you’ve created a company list, there will be an option to “Track changes.”
- One of the available events will be a “New contact in list.”
- You’ll then need to add a destination for our alert, such as your email.
- After you’ve done that and pressed the “Activate” button, your trigger will be live.
- And voila! You’ll receive a notification when we detect a new decision-maker in that list.
Note: All company and decision-maker filter functionalities will be available, so it is possible to monitor, for example, only decision-makers from a defined function, e.g., HR or Finance.
Know when a new decision-maker started
Also, confession time. You might remember that we’ve been talking about this release for a minute and that it was supposed to be released sooner. The reason that it didn’t is quite simple: We made it better.
We realized it would be important for all our users to know when the new decision-maker started. Notifying you that a new decision-maker was detected and having you pick up the phone and call them only to find out that the decision-maker started a few months ago, but the change was only detected now would not be ideal.
This is all to say that when you receive a contact trigger, you’ll also now be able to see when that decision-maker change occurred.
More contacts in the Nordics
A new feature isn't all that's been released today. We've also massively expanded the number of contacts in our Nordic databases, and when we say massively, we mean massively. There are now ∼400,000 more contacts across the databases. Here's a visual representation:
